This weekend, Ned and I will return to New Orleans. We're going to an engagement party there for our friend (the one who let us stay with her the Mardi Gras weekend that we got engaged). This will be our second trip to the city since that big event. Here's a photo from our last visit (at the end of our honeymoon), on the park bench where he proposed. At least, we're pretty sure this is the bench.
Also for good measure, here's a photo of one of my favorite wedding memories: the stack of homemade moon pies by John Currence. The amazing thing about this was the way it kept re-stacking all night. Whenever there was a run on moon pies, more would magically appear. Amazing.
