David loves Jimmy's attention!

Delicious hand

Meeting Center friends

Here's David with Amy. We forgot to get a photo of him with her daughter, Sofia, because he was too flustered from the kiss she gave him!
And here's David doing something that Melissa finds funny, but MB probably finds embarrassing.

Being silly with Gram

We took this photo when David was home for Easter and the azaleas were in bloom.

Baby's first Ranger ride

Resting up

for a big afternoon in the garden

Morning at Moore's Feed & Seed

I checked out saddles, hoping that Rob and Jessie will teach me to ride. Unfortunately, my parents dressed me in my monkey suit today. I should have worn my overalls and boots.

Daddy liked this one until he saw the price tag.

Mama took me to buy seeds for our summer garden. Plus we got several varieties of basil for pesto!

Nice end to a long day

Cool guys

I was able to see Uncle Patrick yesterday, which was a good surprise.

Resting up

For his first visit to Cleveland, his daddy's hometown.

Fat baby legs

We love them! And we love David, who is four months old today. Wow, kiddo. Time's flying.

Watching Daddy work

We're focusing our energies on the garden today. Healthy distraction.

He's so smart!

In an effort to cheer his parents, David plays with the activity center in his crib to show us how smart he is and remind us all we have to be thankful for...crying included.

Sacked out

After a full day of crying and playing, it takes David only 25 paces off the driveway to fall asleep.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Daniel!

Rolling along...

David can't crawl yet, but he sure can roll! Note that he started off way over on the blanket, and was stopped from going any further only by the couch.

Goodnight everybody

Why Renna can't get work done

she's checking the blog! Proof positive here that Mama has good friends in Athens, and David has a multi-state following.

Why MB can't get work done

Because when he's playing quietly in his crib, I just like to watch him.

Meeting Schultz

He was cool.

Daddy, look at my new tricks!

David's first Easter

David was less than thrilled with the basket (though his parents LOVED the burp cloths and diaper wipes). And, below, is his first ever "end of the hall" photo. The Lasseters take one every Christmas and Easter morning, before we go tearing down the hall to see what gifts have been left for us. David, you'll have many, many more of these. And, each time, your aunts and uncles will likely try to trample you in a race for their own stockings/basket. It's just how we are. Get used to it.

Dying his first Easter egg...less than thrilled, he is
