We're just hanging out at the homestead. MB has her usual headache, and this is the first half-smile we've gotten from David all day. On the bright side, at least we didn't drop the computer on ourselves during this attempt at the self-portrait! Also, David is really cute in his monkey suit.

Ned's headed out on his first work trip since David was born. We're all having a tough day of it and can't wait until he returns.

though Mama and Daddy were a bit discouraged by our trip through the city. Seems today was the 45th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, which they only realized AFTER they drove downtown in lots of traffic and were turned away and not allowed to cross the Pettus bridge. Had to backtrack and take the bypass, extending our already too-long trip by half an hour.

It won't be long before we're back to the military park. Thankfully, MB's headache seems to have been cured by a blood patch this morning at St. Dominic's! David loves the military park...he gets to eat and nap there while his parents do all the work of pushing him around!

Headache's gone...well, diminished, actually! MB's still lying flat and taking long naps whenever possible, thanks to good help from MA and Jimmy with Baby David (who is loving every minute of their care!)

Deja vu

Went to the hospital for follow up tests today, and the lumbar puncture gave me a spinal headache. So now we've been admitted overnight, Ned ordered pizza, and we'll have a blood patch in the morning. Many of you may remember that a trip to get a blood patch was how all of this mess started!
