Signs of baby on the way
Chili on the stove at 7 a.m. as part of Project: Stock Freezer.
Pack n Play test set up left in the living room (bc we haven't read directions on how to take it down).
New camera unpacking in progress.
And clean sheets on the crib, enjoyed--for awhile longer at least--alone by Fluffy.
And, not pictured, a heavy dose of anxiety in the air as we see the baby counter at the top of the blog click to single digits and think, "What have we gotten ourselves into?"

Coincidence? ;)
Great camera!!! And is the room pink or red? (It's hard to tell in the picture!) I'm so excited for you guys!
MB,
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of camera did you get? We're looking at buying one for Christmas. Good luck with the baby! It's a lot of hard work, but it's SO much fun!
Elizabeth
Hey, Elizabeth -- we went with the Nikon D3000. They have a special now where you can order the camera and a telephoto lens together and save $150. It has some point-and-shoot presets, but it also has manual mode and aperture/shutter priority options for the user who knows enough about photography to tinker with settings. The Canon options are also good, but I'm a Nikon girl.
ReplyDeleteGood luck you guys! My advice before baby comes? Get out of the house! It is so hard to go anywhere after baby arrives between feedings and all the stuff you have to lug around! As exhausting as it all is, there is nothing more amazing then seeing your child for the first time! Feel free to call me if you need to vent at any time!
