"Keep off the Grass" -- Seattle Style

1 comment:

  1. This post reminded me of a joke about the universities in Monterrey, the city where I was born and went to college. So, my university, "Tec de Monterrey" is popular for charging you for everything... then there's the "UDEM", which is like the mostly liberal arts preppy school, then the public school "UANL" (people there don't usually have lots of money)... and to add to the joke, we usually add Mexico's largest university, "UNAM" (in Mexico City, lots of hippies there)...

Signs in Mexican universities regarding "keep off the grass":

Tec de Monterrey: "Step on the grass and go by the Registrar / Student Accounts" (in Spanish "Tesoreria")

UDEM: "like, please don't step on the grass, like"

UANL: "Please don't eat the grass"

UNAM: "Please don't smoke the grass"

    I guess it's funnier in Spanish :)
