All he needs is a tray full of Cheerios and he will be busy for hours. Of course, you may have to borrow the neighbors dog to catch what drops to the floor. We will get our high chair cleaned up and in the house before October (or sooner if y'all can get this way before then)!
And I agree that containment is lovely. James was satisfied to sit in his high chair for extended stretches for many months (I miss those days). I used to push his high chair around the kitchen so he could be right next to me (at the table, at the sink, at the island)...
At least he is contained, at least momentarily while Mama cooks or rests!
