Apologies that things have been silent this week. We've been running 10 different directions, and there hasn't been much time for blogging. A quick recap:

On Wednesday, we went to Jackson to see Lyle Lovett with our friend, Sandy. He was terrific. He played for 2.5 hours, and Ned and I enjoyed a "grown up" evening while Nana and Granddaddy kindly kept the boys. (Thanks, y'all!)

On Thursday, we recovered from our Wednesday trip to Jackson. We got home Wednesday night/Thursday morning at 12:30 a.m., and we've decided we're too old to be doing that kind of stuff. We all dragged the entire day, and quietly ended the night watching the series finale of The Office. Sad to see it go, but I comfort myself with the knowledge that Arrested Development will be on Netflix in a couple of weeks.

Last night, Friday, Aunt Angie came over to watch the boys so Ned and I could again travel to Jackson for Shelby's graduation. She was an honor graduate, so she should have no troubles at LSU. Congrats, Shelby!

And, finally, because we cannot have an entire post without a photo of the boys, here's a flashback picture from John's first meeting with Aunt Angie.
