Fisherman John

Dug his own worms and patiently waited through many casts before landing (and releasing) this bass.

Flashback: Checkmate!

In David's first and so far only game of chess, he managed to get his dad into a checkmate trap. Now of course he refuses a rematch!

Early mornings at the bus stop

We are slowly emerging from the dark months. The sky is just a bit brighter each morning (incessant rain of late excluded) as the kiddos get on the bus. Proud of these little troopers for getting up and going every morning.

Christmas Day

Ready to check out Santa's gifts.

Racing to Christmas stash.

Maggie got her Baby Alive. Santa has to return the blond Baby Alive, bc she wanted brown Baby Alive (announced 1 week before Christmas).

Houdini decides to put handcuffs on his sister's ankles, because her hands slip out.

John at an entire canniser of pretzels and finished his new book in about an hour.

David checked out things on the microscope the boys received from Santa.

Mary Beth got some artwork she spied on the web page of the Attic Gallery. (She also received two additional pieces, not pictured here.)

David completed his 200+ piece Lego set in about 30 minutes.

Maggie warmed to her unicorn scooter once she got batteries in it and it sounded like a horse running as she scooted.

John programmed his first video game tonight. First of many, we hope...

And the Mandalorian made a late-night appearance.

Mary Claire learned a new skill, but she doesn't want us to tell anyone because she wants to surprise her Big Daddy tomorrow. So...stay tuned.
