Bionic David

David had an EEG today to check and see if he has petit mal seizures like his dad had when he was little. We followed directions and stayed up most of the night for it so he would sleep through the test, only to arrive and be told it wasn't necessary. Glad they didn't have me hooked up to a blood pressure monitor!

So grateful for the rain!

Except for John, who wants to swat the raindrops with a whiffle bat.

Columbus Day pumpkin pecan muffins...

...for breakfast, courtesy of Aunt Sandy. Yesterday's endorsement of the Wall of Cereal notwithstanding, she presumably has some (likely justified) concerns with the Mitchell kids' usual breakfast fare.

Manners day

David's class is having a tea party today to learn manners. Girls are all into it--gloves, hats, dresses, etc. Boys are just wearing ties that belong to their dads. David went from tea party guy to frat boy in about 2 minutes, with shirt untucked.
