Christmas Day recap

David got more toys than he (or his parents) could count, including this Big Rig from his Texas cousins. John's favorite toy of all (and there were many) was a new toothbrush from Gram. He spent the rest of the day brushing his teeth in the bathroom. Little Mary Claire, for her part, found the whole Christmas Day spectacle pretty exhausting.

Bath time

Everything comes in threes these days, and bath time is no different.

David's birthday party

Thanks to all our friends for joining us for David's fourth birthday (which is actually Wednesday). And a happy birthday to Mr. Jay, who also celebrated a birthday today!

 

He got a cool new seesaw from MA and Jimmy, plus tons of other presents, including finger paints, a  Hot Wheels track, a race set, a cool Toy Story truck, a Spiderman basketball hoop, games, and a They Might Be Giants book, and some Cars cars.

 

There were cupcakes with cowboys, and all his friends got badges, bandanas, and cowboy hats.

 

Miss Patricia (a new friend) gave him finger paints.

 

Aunt Angie paid a visit, which made his day!

 

John and Grady enjoyed the seesaw, too. Grady's a good bit older than John, but John has a weight advantage, as can be clearly seen here.
