Halloween Flashback (or Flashforward?)

Team Mitchell had a great time at Team Lindsay's Halloween party this past Saturday. We went as a Full House. Get it? (Enlarge the photo and you can see the Ace of Hearts on my belly.) If you don't notice the baby card, we're the Dead Man's Hand.

Halloween Prep

David worked on a pumpkin cake with Miss Stephanie this afternoon. He seriously concentrated for the important job of M&M placement. Meanwhile, John entertained Aunt Sandy with giggles.

John likes to stand in the chair and point at the various pictures as they scroll by on the electronic frame. He really jumps and points with glee when he spots Mama and/or Daddy.

David, but only by 5 lbs. John weighs 30 pounds, per Nurse Sylvia.

Another note from school

"John needs to work on taking bites. He tends to put the whole snack in his mouth." Agreed. But does he scream incessantly when snack ends? If not, count your blessings and let this roll.

Sad day for George

Our original Wubbanub, George, retired today. John bit the paci off. Luckily, we still have the doll. Unluckily, John's down to his last paci and his mama isn't going to buy him another one. Better be careful, John!

We love our Halloween treats. We wore our glasses at night inside, we'll use our plates at breakfast, and read our new book tomorrow afternoon. We heard rumors about candy, but we think Mama hid it from us tonight. Too much excitement already!

Why don't we all just shut down?

The government is shutting down, and Team Mitchell is, too (kinda). With the SFA symposium this weekend, and all the unexpected childcare juggling that has landed on us since complications with Ned's work schedule and the shutdown, we'll likely not have much time to photograph the kiddos. Apologies. Back to our normal schedule on Monday (but we may slip in a few pics as time allows).
