Prayers welcome
For those unaware, a brain tumor was discovered on Monday evening, and surgery was performed yesterday afternoon.
Many thanks to all for the support and well-wishes. Little David is enjoying his grandparents, and Ned is making it thanks to the love and support of others.

First tub (sink) bath

Caffeine Infusion
Today, we're headed to the hospital for a caffeine infusion. You'd think it'd be for the little guy (given his demeanor here), but it's actually for his Mama. Hopefully, this'll kick the post-epidural headache I've been sporting since he was born. I wonder if this will help me with tonight's tantrum shift? Last night, he screamed between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Hence, the sleepiness now.

Tuesday morning goodbye
We had to say goodbye to MA and Jimmy this morning. They were terrific help this week: they cooked Ned's birthday dinner, ran grocery errands, and entertained the cranky baby. We hope we haven't scared them off and they'll visit again soon!

Growing up
I got so excited when I heard that MA and Jimmy are coming to visit for the weekend that my belly button popped off! I was proud of growing up a little bit. Mama cried, even though she's wanted it gone for awhile. Silly Mama--will she cry every time I do something big? Probably.

Watching the Game
It's Troy and Central Michigan, but it's my second to last game of the season! Gotta watch it.

"Looks like you've put on a little weight." And, yes, he has! He's 7 lbs. 11 oz. these days, up from 7-8 at his last visit. Thanks to Fr. Dan for today's snazzy wardrobe! It says CELEBRATE ME (as if anything in the house revolves around something other than him these days!)
